About Ergün

The Salon Owner & Master Stylist, Ergün Tercan, was raised in Turkey by a family of stylists, and has been in the industry for over twenty years. The salon is considered a European salon due to Ergün's training and experience in Europe for more than 15 years. He studied cosmetology in high school and college in Turkey. He has also had extensive training in the industry, including Bumble & Bumble University, Vidal Sassoon, Wella, Sebastian & Schwarzkopf. He has participated in Intercoiffure Shows in New York and Miami and was a Wella Train the Trainer for 4 years in Europe and opened his first salon in Turkey in 1994 prior to moving to the States. Offering European services rarely found elsewhere in the US, like threading (a form of hair removal), razor cutting, European color techniques, Japanese straightening and European hair extensions, Ergün brings his European education to you.

Ergün then moved to the United States in 2004 and went to work at Tuana Hair Design, his brother's salon in Fort Collins, CO. The salon had created such a large and loyal client base over several years, that Ergün was able to open a Denver location in September 2005. Originally named Tuana Hair Design, to match the Fort Collins location, the salon's growth and expansion called for a rebranding to encompass the personality of its owner and the salon's core values.

Now named Ergün Tercan European Salon, the salon continues to grow in the years since its rebranding and has flourished in the Lower Highlands neighborhood. We continue to cultivate talented stylists and serve a loyal customer base with our All About Ü attitude.

And now, after many years in the profession, hours of training, hundreds of fashion shows and photo shoots, and a remarkable amount of passion, Ergün Tercan proudly contributes to developing the future of the industry with his Denver-based salon.
