Ergun Tercan - Master Stylist
Ergün was born in a salon. He comes from a family of stylists and their passion for hair was contagious. He studied cosmetology in high school and college in Turkey, where he grew up. He has also had extensive education in the industry, including Bumble & Bumble University, Vidal Sassoon, Wella, Sebastian & Schwarzkopf. He has also participated in Intercoiffure Shows in New York and Miami and was a Wella Train the Trainer for 4 years in Europe and opened his first salon in Turkey in 1994.
His specialty behind the chair is as an "Image Maker." He likes to paint the entire picture for his clients. He also has an innate talent for magically transforming bad haircuts with hair extensions. Additionally, Ergün is always in touch with the latest trends in the industry, often being complimented on his fashion, especially his shoes. He has a drive to make a difference in people's lives, making them feel good about themselves, inside and out and thrives on passing all of his knowledge onto his team of stylists. Ergün exemplifies this same sharing attitude with charities. His salons provided makeovers for moms on Mother's Day, services to children from an orphanage, and services for victims of the 1999 Earthquake, just to name a few.
When he's not at the salon, Ergün frequents the gym and his favorite sushi restaurants. He also enjoys spending time with his niece and nephew. Ergün considers himself a lucky man to be surrounded by such great friends and family. And they, in turn, enjoy his generosity and his caring spirit. Each day, Ergün strives to make a change in the world, one style at a time.
