Muna Barre - Front Desk Champion

Muna is a college student at CU-Denver who was looking for a job and landed in the salon. Since then, her perspective for the industry has changed drastically. She has a newfound appreciation and respect for the salon business. Her welcoming smile and positive attitude are apparent the moment that you walk in the door. She is happy to greet you and take care of your needs, whether it's making an appointment, purchasing products or just asking a few questions.

Muna thoroughly enjoys watching the stylists succeed in completely transforming their clients' looks. She loves the shock-factor that the clients leave with because they came in not knowing what they wanted and they leave with exactly the cut they desired.

When Muna is not in the salon, she can usually be found at school. Other times, she may be running, practicing yoga or spending her time rock climbing. In addition, she often dedicates her time for a cause. She is a member of the Run for Cancer Society, has volunteered with the Democratic Party of Denver, Kaiser Permanente, the Colfax Marathon and has participated in diabetes fundraising. She even received an award for the Best Volunteer for the Somalian African Association. Her kind and generous spirit makes you feel comfortable when you are around her.

Muna, having grown up in Amsterdam, Holland, is also fluent in 5 languages. So, no matter your need at the salon, she is well-equipped to handle it.
